[ Readers, some of you may have seen this elsewhere, and I had intended to publish a number of articles this evening; but in light of the terrible tragedy here in Duxbury — where a Mother stands accused of murdering two of her children, and injuring the third, who is still in critical condition, before attempting to take her own life — I thought it fitting to pause for a moment in solemn recognition of the enormity of the events of the last day. - Ed.
Compassion for everyone touched by this tragedy. Mental illness cannot be seen, so often is missed. From newspaper accounts this woman had suffered in the past from postpartum depression. How did everyone miss it this time. She will come out of this fog and pain and I cannot imagine her sorrow. She should not be treated as a criminal.
The overwhelming sadness of this family tragedy is beyond comprehension . 🙏🏻 I am praying for them .
