This is a significant and interesting point and one I would love to investigate further. One of the problems with the advocates for these projects is that they are very secretive and don't want these questions openly discussed. I don't think those of us who love the outdoors should simply accept at face value the sustainability claims that involve, oh, clear cutting forests and destroying pristine trout waters.
